Ancestry research of our jewish gipsy roots
Introduction
The journey to my roots started with my wish to make a genealogical tree for my daughter Rosa Katharina Klein. But actually, this journey started much earlier. I have been exploring the different religions for many years. Which is my religion, which religion do I want to give to my daughter ...
Another path led me to the registration office in Hürth to search information about my grandfather Heinrich Klein, born in 1910. The names of his parents, which are listed there, are Gertrud Viander (mother) and Peter Klein (father) . But there was a small but very important note on the marriage certificate, saying that Peter Klein had adopted Heinrich Klein. Gertrud Viander was not his biological mother and Peter Klein was not his biological father. After sorting and translation about 200 documents it became clear. My family does not originally come from Hürth. My blood came from somewhere else. At his point, of my family history took a sudden turn and I did´nt know where it went. The search for information became very difficult, the path was often hidden and I didn´t know where it went. The search for information became very difficult, the path was often hidden and I did´nt know if it was still there. But i found an answer. My great grandfather had Jewish gipsy blood in his veins. Now I am looking for his name and the city where they come from before they moved to Hürth.
